Island peak climbing is an adventurous expedition in the Khumbu region. Less risk with a moderate climb up to 6,187m, - island peak summit, and opens its way to beginners as well.

Beginning the trail from Lukla, you will pass different Sherpa villages, resting on the bank of Dudhkoshi and reach Namche, the Himalayan Thamel. The uphills and downhills, stone-paved path and rocky trail, glacier path and bank of Dodhkoshi become your trial.

Leading Everest base camp you will back to Dingboche, for Island peak base camp. The mani walls, chorten, monasteries and suspension bridges overflowing Dudhkoshi energize you. View of Mt. Everest, Mt. Loshte. Mt. Loshte shar, Amma Doblam, Tabuche, Cholache, Mt. Thamsekhu, Khakteka, Khusum and Khangagru from Tengboche, Pherichi, and onward path attracts you most.

Day 3: Kathmandu – Lukla – Phakding (2,800m). Walking  Hours, overnight at tea house.
Day 4: Phakding – Namche Bazaar (3,440m) Walking 5 Hours, overnight at tea house.
Day 5: Namche Bazaar – Khumjung Valley Excursion (3,790m) Walking 3 Hours, overnight at tea house.

Day 18: Lukla – Kathmandu, Flight 40 Minutes, overnight at tea house.
